Fundraise For Lilac
In a recent report by the Northern Ireland Cancer Registry
(View Report) the number of deaths related to cancer has increased slightly from 2008 against 2007, cancer patients and their carers availing of our services have also increased. This is because more social workers in the cancer unit in Belfast City Hospital, District Nurses and GPs are referring or providing information about the existence of LiLac Cancer Support Group and the services we provide.
In this respect it is important that we double our fundraising efforts so that we may continue to provide our services to the people who need it most. We are also very grateful to the continued support we receive from our well wishers, especially donors, fundraisers and companies who have helped us throughout the years.
Our services benefit cancer suffers and their carers in the Mid Ulster area.
